10 Movie Villains With Normal Day Jobs

When some think of the word “bad guy”, the classic image of a mad genius or an evil wizard comes to mind, letting the audience know instantly who the good guy and the bad guy respectively are. However, some villains do not have elaborate island hideouts; most have the same bills and responsibilities as everyone else. Or they need a steady job as a cover to blend into society to carry out their sinister deeds behind the scenes.

Whatever the reason, cinema is filled with antagonists who live seemingly ordinary lives with regular jobs. Whether it’s the businessman who uses his money to hide his true intentions, or a master vampire who needs a way to blend in with mortals, in the movies, bad guys walk around among average citizens.

In the 1987 vampire teen movie lost boys, the first part of the film tricks viewers into believing that David, played by Kiefer Sutherland, is the leader of the punk rock vampire gang wreaking havoc in Santa Carla, California.
