12 Gigs We Can Look Forward To For The Rest Of The Year

After almost 2 years without any live concerts, Malaysians are more than ever delighted to see their favorite artists and musicians live!

With the exciting news of Justin Bieber’s “Justice World Tour” resuming after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome a few months ago, here are 11 more gigs you can expect for the rest of 2022:

1. Billie Eilish “Happier than ever, the world tour”, August 18, 2022

Global superstar and seven-time Grammy winner Billie Eilish visits KL for the very first time. His ‘The Happier Than Ever: World Tour’ will take place in the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil on August 18, 2022 at 8:30 p.m..

Its first live debut in Asia will kick off in Manila and end in Tokyo, with additional dates in Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok and Seoul.

Where: Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Jalan Barat, Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

2. (G)I-DLE ‘Just Me ( )I-DLE’ World Tour, September 9, 2022

Although many K-pop groups have decided to skip Malaysia on their various world tours, K-Pop fans are sure to have a blast as (G)I-DLE is here to save the day!

The The South Korean girl group recently released the final dates and locations. for their ‘Just Me ( )I-DLE’ tour and Kuala Lumpur is on the list!

3. 30 Years Of Dewa 19 Tour, September 9-10, 2022

Veteran Indonesian rock band Dewa 19 recently announced an extra night for their upcoming 30th anniversary concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Their original concert date was September 10, but after the tickets sold out within an hour of releasethe rock band announced they would also be performing on September 9.

Dewa 19 is currently on a Dewa 19 30th Anniversary Tour in 30 cities, where they go play 30 songs at each show in keeping with the tour’s 30th anniversary theme.

4. Anirudh Ravichander’s “Once Upon A Time” Tour, September 17, 2022

Indian rock singer and songwriter Anirudh Ravichander is set to give Malaysians a colorful concert in september as part of his “Once Upon A Time Tour”.

The tour which started in Chennai earlier this year will arrive at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil here on September 17

Anirudh who is a big fan of British rock band Coldplay has promised to give fans a “light in the dark” concert inspired by Coldplay performances.

5. Fourtwnty Heliotropism, October 2, 2022

Indonesian indie-folk band Fourtwnty have announced an October performance in Malaysia. Titled “Heliotropism,” the show is part of a tour that takes the band to 10 cities in Indonesia, including Medan, Makassar, Malang, Palembang and Yogyakarta.

6. Boys Like Girls, October 15, 2022

American punk rock band Boys Like Girls are heading to Southeast Asia this year and they are expected to perform their iconic 2006 self-titled album in its entirety.

Originally scheduled for July 2021, the Asia-Pacific leg of their world tour was pushed back to October 2022 after several postponements due to the pandemic.

However, venue and ticket details have yet to be announced at the time of writing.

7. Justin Bieber ‘Justice’ World Tour, October 22, 2022

Although it was previously postponed indefinitely due to the global superstar being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndromeit was recently announced that his highly anticipated “Justice” world tour is finally back on the cards to the great relief of the Malaysian “Beliebers”.

Unfortunately, his concert tickets were sold out within hours with resellers trying to resell his concert tickets for up to RM10,432.

8. Calum Scott, October 27, 2022

Calum

Acclaimed British singer-songwriter Calum Scott will serenade fans for the second time during a live concert at KLCC’s Plenary Hall on October 27.

The multi-platinum sold out, the Brit Award-nominated artist will be in KL as part of his Bridges Asia tour which will kick off in Tokyo, Japan, before heading to other locations including Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta and Singapore.

9. Russ ‘The Journey Is Everything World Tour’, November 3, 2022

Presented by Good Vibes, Russ is back in Malaysia since his last visit to the Good Vibes Festival 2019 in Genting Highlands.

Russ, whose top hits include What They Want, Losin’ Control and Best on Earth, will be performing at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon in November.

10. LANY ‘A November To Remember Tour’, November 6, 2022

Making a long-awaited return to Malaysia is American pop rock band, LANY, who will be back for their second visit in November to the Axiata Arena.

The group is known for its big hits such as Malibu Nights and ILYSB and will return to promote their latest album, gg bb xx.

11. Boy Pablo’s Asia Tour 2022, November 25, 2022

Famous for his hits which include “Everytime” and “Dance, Baby!”, Chilean-Norwegian indie rock singer Nicolas Muñoz AKA Boy Pablois set to perform his tracks at Zepp KL Bukit Bintang.

Boy Pablo’s comprehensive Asian tour includes shows in Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, Manila, Singapore, Seoul and, of course, Kuala Lumpur.

When: November 25, 2022

12. Keshi HELL/HEAVEN Tour, December 2-3, 2022

Known for his alternative R&B tunesVietnamese-American artist Keshi will launch his HELL/Heaven tour in Asia, starting in Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore, before heading to KL.

The remaining tour includes South Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan.

Tickets for his show, which was originally only scheduled to take place on December 2, were quickly sold out, prompting him to announce a second show on December 3.
