David Crosby revealed that tendonitis robbed him of the ability to play guitar and that he expected to be forced to stop playing in about a year.
In a recent interview on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM Show, the singer-songwriter indicated that he was comfortable with the fact that he was on the verge of death, but that he planned to continue working on the music for as long as he could. .
“I am [at] the end of my life⦠and that’s a very strange thing, âCrosby said. “And this is what I came to [think] about it: it’s not how much time you have, because we really don’t know. I could be two weeks old, I could be ten years old. It’s what you do with the time you have. And so I really try to spend it well.

Crosby, 79, said his overall health was “surprisingly good”. He showed that some of his fingers had only limited movement left, noting, “I still have about a year to play. And I can teach my parts to someone else if I really want to play though. bad⦠but I don’t know if I’ll keep playing. You think I should?
Stern told Crosby he should keep playing and said the idea of ââlosing him was “unbearable.” “Don’t let this be unbearable,” Crosby replied. “People get old and die. That’s how it works, and I will. But in the meantime, I’m going to have a little fun. I guarantee it, because I have a PhD in fun, as you well know. .
Crosby added that he had “two more records planned”. His last, Free, arrives July 23.
