british punk rock Frank Carter and the rattlesnakes will publish their fourth full length studio album Tights to October 15e Going through AWAL records. Tights presents their new single “Go get tattooed” with Lynks and previously released singles “My city” and “Tights. “

Tights, produced by the other co-founder of the group Dean Richardson (guitar, synth / keyboards), mark the next phase for Rattlesnakes and solidifies the pairing of Carter and Richardson as one of the most exciting partnerships in punk rock and Carter (formerly of Gallows and Pure Love) as a vital voice in British music, mobilizing against injustice, patriarchy, right-wing politics and toxic masculinity. Their sound practically comes out of the speakers of the next collection with a new directness and immediacy and Carter sounding like an untamed force of nature, playing the mischievous threat of Keith Flint one minute, Sid Vicious the next.

Frank Carter and the rattlesnakes introduces this new chapter in the spring with the single “My city»With IDLES leader Joe Talbot, who has already raised more than 2 million plays. Described by Carter as “a metaphor for our collapsing collective sanity,” the fierce track that stands out is about people who have had to deal with issues they avoided and who come to terms with the fact that we are all the same and together. Sound like turbo Madness or The Specials, “Go get tattooed”Is an irreverent ode to tattooing, Carter another full-time gig, and his own east London tattoo shop that couldn’t open due to the pandemic – CLICK HERE to watch the official music video of “Go get a tattoo.” The 10 tracks album, the acclaimed sequel to 2019 End of Pain, also includes the title song “Tights“, a surly call to arms and additional guests from the singer of Primal Scream Bobby gillespie and British singer Cassyette.
