Help another demon when needed.

Beloved by horror and punk rock fans, Patricia Day, singer and bassist of Danish psychobilly band The HorrorPops, was recently diagnosed with cancer. The medical bills for the treatment are piling up like crazy, and she and her longtime husband and Nekromantix leader Kim Nekroman need our help.

Patricia has a GoFundMe page which you can access at this link. All funds raised go directly to Patricia to help alleviate past, present and future medical bills.

Beyond treating her own illness, Patricia hopes that going public with this news will inspire women around the world to get regular health checkups:

“Be better than me at emphasizing to your doctor that something is wrong, love your body and take the time to feel it and go get those screenings! This also includes you men, especially since many of you would rather run naked through the circular pit than go to a doctor.

As alarming as the news is, Patricia is intent on kicking cancer’s ass and isn’t about to slow down: “F cancer. I’m planning US shows for late summer and fall and European tours for 23 and 24…and I can’t wait!!!
