It’s an overnight event “to recognize that when a person has cancer, it doesn’t stop. The disease is present 24 hours a day,” explains Verywell Health.

Kaleidoscope Redrocks are establishing a reputation for their soulful music and effective fundraising efforts for many causes, including animal rescues, local community organizations, veterans, Ukrainian refugee aid, Help to End Human Trafficking and Now for American Cancer Society Research, Prevention, Detection and Education. and patient support.

The Prescott Valley Civic Center located at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd. will host teams for a “nighttime community gathering event that takes turns walking a trail to fight cancer and help save lives,” according to the American Cancer Society.

On Friday, June 3, multi-instrumentalist Sedona sister duo Kaleidoscope Redrocks – 16-year-old Gracie Moskoff and 13-year-old Tivona – will kick off their 2-hour show on the main stage and perform from 6:30-7:30 p.m. followed by a special Remember-Luminaria ceremony at sunset. Then, from 8-9 p.m., KR will play its second hour of rock, country, folk, pop and punk songs that have been well-loved for over 50 years. All tips will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

“The two young women playing these guitars – and other instruments – create soothing, soothing moods and many other kinds of powerful vibes with their live performances,” writes Jason W. Brooks in Kudos 8/4/2021 issue .
