Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real hit the road again this fall. The singer and his band have confirmed a string of tough dates starting September 3 in Pioneertown, Calif., And continuing through the end of November.

The trek is in support of their album which has just been released, A few stars apart, which was released on June 11 and is in part a product of songwriting Nelson did as he struggled with the isolation and change in his routine that came with the COVID-19 pandemic . The singer-songwriter has spent much of 2020 with his family, including his famous road dog father, Willie Nelson. .

“I mean, a lot of people were away from their families and didn’t know what to do. So I consider myself extremely lucky to have been with them as it all unfolded,” he recalls. “In a way, it was divine timing that I could be with them, and it gave me a really good chance to spend more time with them, consecutively, than I had in a long time.”

Yet for everything there is a season, and the two Nelson musicians are now enthusiastically preparing to resume their lives as busy touring musicians. For Lukas and his band, that means putting the 11 new songs on A few stars apart in a living environment for the first time.

Some of the places they should visit for their headlining tour include the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, and a two-night party at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. A full list of dates and locations is below.

Tickets for Nelson & Company’s 2021 tour dates go on sale Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. local time. Information on the first parts of the tour is not yet available.
