Papa Roach continues to paint outside the box, teaming up with German producer / DJ Vize for the new song “Core (That’s Who We Are)”. And although it retains the Papa Roach attitude, the collaborators of the “slap house” give it a thrilling rhythm that is sure to move you.

To coincide with the new song, a new animated video has arrived, produced by OVERTOON Animation, starring both Jacoby Shaddix and Vitali de Vize.

“I’m so happy to be on a track with VIZE,” Jacoby shares, “I’m always looking for ways to break down walls and bring people and this track together. “Core” was the perfect collaboration to do it. Bringing together EDM Rock and pop is new and exciting. Music brings unity and we all know the world needs more UNITY! God of speed! “

It’s been a big year for Papa Roach so far with a new collection of hits and recent duets with Jeris Johnson, Kayzo and Sullivan King under the belt. The band also have a new album due in early 2022, although they have announced that new music will arrive before the end of the year.

Check out the lyrics and video for “Core (That’s Who We Are) by Vize X Papa Roach” below and if you like the song, it’s available here.

Vize X Papa Roach, “Core (That’s Who We Are)” Lyrics + Video

Live like it’s the end of our days
Let’s dance without worry
Don’t care what others might say
This is who we are

Every day, every day is something new
And they keep putting walls in front of you
But you know, yeah you know
You know the truth

Build bridges to stay above water
Don’t accept the lies they told us
Nothing will take me away from you

No I don’t want to anymore, I don’t want to do this anymore

Live like it’s the end of our days
Let’s dance without worry
Don’t care what others might say
This is who we are

Live like we’ll never get old
Dive deep into the core
Don’t care what the other might say
This is who we are

Nananananana x 3
This is who we are
Nananananana x 3
That we are

No one, no one is gonna bring us down
Because tonight, because tonight we are the sound
May the world, may the world come and hear us now
Uhuhum
They will try, they will try to bring us down
We will rise, we will rise above it all
Nothing will take me away from you
Yeah

Cause I don’t, I don’t wanna do this anymore

Live like it’s the end of our days
Let’s dance without worry
Don’t care what others might say
This is who we are

Live like we’ll never get old
Dive deep into the core
Don’t care what the other might say
This is who we are

Nananananana x 3
This is who we are
Nananananana x 3
That we are

Every day every day it’s something new yeah
Falling further and further from the truth yeah
Every day, every day it’s something new eh
Fall further, far from the truth …

Live like it’s the end of our days
Let’s dance without worry
Don’t care what others might say
This is who we are

Live like we’ll never get old
Dive deep into the core
Don’t care what the other might say
This is who we are

Nananananana x 3
This is who we are
Nananananana x 3
That we are
