Paris Jackson showed her love for the ‘Lord of the Rings’ franchise at the annual Thriller Night Halloween party. The event, hosted by her brother Prince Jackson, took place at their family home in Encino, California last night.
Paris was dressed as one of the Black Riders, otherwise known as the Nazgûl or Ringwraith, who are mortal men who were turned into evil servants of Sauron in JRR Tolkien’s saga.
The Paris costume consisted of a tattered black cape enveloping a black velvet two-piece bra and briefs set as well as sheer black tights. The ‘American Horror Stories’ actress wore black leather gloves with sharp claws on each fingertip that covered her forearm and raised hands. The cape was accompanied by a hood which she wore over her hair, with the star affixing an ethereal geometric mask with spikes sticking out of it over her face, the intense accessory hiding her makeup-laden features from the camera’s flash. Still in the grungy style, the model and actress wore shiny black leather combat boots with chunky rubber soles and pronounced toes. The shiny shoes hit just above her ankles and were laced with a blood red ribbon threaded through silver eyelets.
A mainstay of the Parisian wardrobe, combat boots are utilitarian footwear originally designed to be worn by soldiers on the battlefield and created for foot protection, ankle support and tread. member. Classically made of black leather, combat boots were adopted by counterculture movements in the 1980s and 1990s, such as the goth, punk, grunge, and heavy metal scenes.
The punk rock princess’s wardrobe consists of looser flowing silhouettes and banded tops from designers like Dior, Balmain, Christian Louboutin and Calvin Klein for her red carpet looks. His personal style seems to be a mixture of grunge with references to the 70s and 80s.
