[ad_1]
What’s the best AC / DC song from the Bon Scott era? That’s what we want to know from you in this week’s Loudwire Nights Artist of the Week poll!
Each week, we’ll ask you to choose your favorite song from a list of 10 of the greatest songs from the next Artist of the Week catalog.
You will have until Friday noon ET to vote. We’ll then play the three tracks with the most votes during the Loudwire Nights Artist of the Week block to start the following Monday’s show!
This week we’re putting the emphasis on AC / DC again, but this time it’s all about the songs sung by the late Bon Scott.
AC / DC formed in Australia in 1973. Scott was not actually the band’s first vocalist – he replaced original vocalist Dave Evans the following year. Their first and second albums, High tension and TNT, were released in Australia in 1975.
A combination of the two albums, also titled High tension, released internationally in 1976, then the band recorded four more albums together. Highway to Hell was the last album they recorded with Scott behind the mic, and it became their commercial breakthrough.
Scott was tragically found dead in 1980, but rather than fall apart, the group found Brian Johnson and decided to continue with him. The first record they released with Johnson, Back in black, served as a tribute to their late comrade.
There are a ton of great songs to choose from with Scott on vocals, so head below to vote for your favorite song, and tune in to Loudwire Nights next Monday at 7 p.m. ET to check out the three tracks that prevailed.
Tune in tonight to hear the three songs from Three Days Grace that you voted the best!
Loudwire Nights with Toni Gonzalez airs nightly starting at 7 p.m. ET. You can log in anytime, from anywhere here or by downloading the Loudwire app.
