Son Rompe Pera recently announced their 2022 spring tour which includes dates across Mexico and the United States. Son Rompe Pera’s Marimba Maniacs spring tour includes four dates in California, including one at 5:20 p.m. on May 7and.
The psychobilly marimba group, Son Rompe Pera, is made up of brothers Gama Kacho, Mongo and Kilos, accompanied by their friend and drummer Richi Lopez and bassist Raul Albarran. The band formed in Naucalpan, a suburb of Mexico City, and quickly developed a fan base for their unique Cumbia punk sound.
Son Rompe Pera will be accompanied by Bite Me Bambi and Quitapenas at their shows in Los Angeles on May 7and and at Riverside on May 11and. Bite Me Bambi became popular for their OC ska sound and energetic performances. Quitapenas is known for its contagious beat and tropical Afro-Latin sound.
