The band quickly rose to stardom, reaching the top of the Billboard Top 200 in 2007 with their self-titled debut album, which was six times platinum⦠of course. Since then, the group has produced albums that cover the rock universe, with Beloved being what some call âa return to their rootsâ. Over three decades of Psychedelic furs
The British invade again via The Psychedelic Furs. First success in the United States in 1981 with their second album Speak Speaking Speaking, The Psychedelic Furs has played an influential role in the British post-punk and new wave world. In 2020 they released Made of rain, a mind-blowing record in itself, but especially considering the fact that they hadn’t released a studio record since 1991. Thirty years later, we’ve had something as special as before. The group even cited modern influences in bands like The Killers and Arctic Monkeys, as well as returning to classics with Roxy Music. With an album like this, The Psychedelic Furs could attract new fans along with their older ones. However, the latter were deprived of this group on tour because of the pandemic. Fortunately, nature has started to heal and now we can see The Psychedelic Furs returning to their roots on stage on November 17th to perform both their new brit-pop inspired songs and their classic punk hits.
